Let me start this by saying--- I once was a stressed out bride!  I had always dreamed of having the perfect intimate garden party wedding with little perfect appetizers, beautiful place settings and of course flowers, tea and crumpets.

Fast forward to my actual wedding day.... I have a DJ playing "Jump Around" and my guests are so drunk that they are trying to light each other & the venue on fire with the sparklers they found in the back room.

What a mess!  If only I had known that my mom was probably not equipped to handle my wedding day.  I wanted the perfect day, but not at the expense of hurting my relationship with  family.  I was secretly upset and wished that I had someone there other than volunteer family members helping who understood not only MY desires,  but also the wedding industry, to help literally & figuratively "put out the fires".

Now fast forward  10 years.  As you can guess, my first marriage didn't work out.  But there is light at the end of the tunnel!  I finally did have that garden party wedding of my dreams and married a wonderful supportive husband who helped me build Whitlock Events.
